China’s Experimental Centre for Educational Action Research in Foreign Languages Teaching at http://people.bath.ac.uk/edsajw/moira.shtml .
Jean’s website at http://www.jeanmcniff.com with details of books, workshops and theses supporting action research approaches to improving practice and generating educational knowledge.
Jean has made freely available the booklet on concise advice for new action researchers to celebrate our 21 years of working together at: http://www.jeanmcniff.com/booklet1.html . This is the best introductory text I’ve used with beginning action researchers.
Jacqueline Delong has just presented a lecture and workshop at McGill University in Canada as part of their celebrations of 150 years in Teacher Education. It takes further my presentation at York St. John University at http://www.jackwhitehead.com/jack/jwlivthyorkstjohn2.htm  in showing how to develop a culture of inquiry for supporting a living theory approach to improving practice in education. You can access Jacqueline’s presentation at http://www.jackwhitehead.com/jdmcgill.htm
Jacqueline has drawn on the ideas and skills developed at the University of Bath in exercising her own originality in using and developing the ideas and skills in the generation of a culture of inquiry. This work marks a breakthrough in showing the systemic influences of the generation of living educational theories in improving practice. You can also access 6 volumes of Passion in Professional Practice edited by Jacqueline and her colleagues at http://schools.gedsb.net/ar/passion/index.html .  Jacqueline would be the best person to consult in relation to generating a culture of inquiry in developing  the capacity to support the production and sharing of living educational theories in improving practice in the workplace.
Erica Holley’s research dissertation How do I as a teacher-researcher contribute to the development of a living educational theory through an exploration of my values in my professional practice? At  http://people.bath.ac.uk/edsajw/erica.shtml  shows a standard of excellence in analyzing an educator’s educational influence in the learning of an individual pupil and a class in:

Chapter 4. I can speak for myself. My account of working with Poppy and how I struggled to come to terms with what I saw as academic accounts of teaching?

Chapter 5. 'Accounting for myself' - a description of my work with a whole class and an attempt to explain what I mean by accountability.

Branko Bognar is another inspiring educator and educational action research whose research into educational relationships and improving practice through action research is at the forefront of the field. Branko works in the Philosophical Faculty of Osijek at the Josip Juraj Srossmayer University in Croatia. (Croatia has just knocked England out of an international football competition!) . Branko has been most influential in establishing the Educational Journal of Living Theories (EJOLTS) at http://www.ejolts.net/. Moira Laidlaw is the Chair of the Editorial Board and as your work and research progress it might be that you would want to submit a paper on your work to EJOLTS.
available web-based resources from http://www.actionresearch.net that serve our shared interests.

I have also copied in to this letter the following individuals who are working on developing action research approaches to professional development in their work in higher education and who may be willing to share their ideas with you:
8、Trond Smistad of Akershus University College in Norway.
9、Margaret Wood of York St. John University in the UK.
10、Jane Spiro of Oxford Brookes University in the UK.
11、Erica Holley of Oxford Brookes University in the UK.

Moira Laidlaw is the Chair of the Editorial Board and as your work and research progress it might be that you would want to submit a paper on your work to EJOLTS.What I would like to do over the coming year is to respond to requests for help in understanding how to develop the ideas and skills for generating living educational theories of improving practice. I am thinking particularly of responding by making freely available web-based resources from http://www.actionresearch.net that serve our shared interests. You could help by letting me know what you might need in order to develop and share your own  living educational theory approach to improving practice within your own workplace at Northwest University for Nationalities.
